Hi! My name is Elisabeth Danis, and I have been working as a sitter/nanny for about 7 years now. I am experienced in childcare, love being around children, and have a passion for fun. For the majority of my time in childcare, I have worked with one family. As I nanny, I cared for two girls, one being special needs and blind, as well as tutored them in math, science, and English. In addition to that, I am proficient in taking care of a household, including cleaning and cooking. A little about me! I am an exercise science major at The University of New Hampshire and am a student athlete on their track and cross country teams. I’ve taken classes in childcare and growth, and have successfully been a leader in my community through volunteering with and helping coach a local high school cross country team. I’ve worked at many Read more youth summer camps, and have spent a lot of time around kids of all ages. I love working with children because their endless energy and curiosity is incredibly fun to be around. I believe in finding interesting, active ways to encourage kids to learn and try to limit screen time, while using technology to our advantage to learn. I am a huge fan of outdoor time, such as going on a short hike or playing outside. Overall, I hope to connect and help children grow, learn, and have a blast.
