My name is Megan McLaren. I am 25 years old and just recently moved to South Georgia. I am from a small farm town in Illinois where I was a nanny for three years. It is the most rewarding job I have ever had. I have cared for a wide range of ages over the past three years, from 3 months all the way to 10 years. Some of my duties from previous jobs include: -Create a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for children -Supervise children's activities at all times -Perform housework related to child care, including cleaning and meal preparation -Plan and facilitate all educational and social activities -Administer medications to children as prescribed -Provide weekly educational trips to library, zoo, museum, farm -Plan, develop and institute educational activities to stimulate early learning -Provide support for various milestones such as reading, hygiene training and nutrition -Demonstrate proper social manners Read more to serve as a positive role model for children -Care for children overnight when needed -Perform all tasks related to care of child -Transport children to and from school/activities -Reinforce appropriate discipline for children. I am not CPR certified, but I would be willing to take the classes.
