With two decades of experience as a mother of four (and former foster mother of nearly forty), I have learned quite a lot about parenting children of all ages! In addition to helping children with typical needs, I have worked with kids with special needs, ADHD, ODD, bipolar disorder, learning disabilities, autism, and depressive disorder. As you see, I am experienced in many areas of child care, but my experience alone means nothing, because what sets me apart from other nannies is my unrelenting desire to help your child reach his or her greatest potential. Big on encouragement, l infuse each moment with love and the greatest care. With a ready smile and my easy-going demeanor, I engage kids interactively through play, music, dance, reading, and art. I'm not overly structured because kids need some measure of freedom in their home environment, but I do stay involved as a caregiver. Read more I'm responsible, dependable, creative, imaginative, influential, quite silly, and loads of fun. I'm CPR/first aid certified for all ages and have several ENTHUSIASTIC references. Parents and children adore me, and it melts my heart to be a positive influence in so many lives. I always wanted to be a mother, but I never knew I'd find such joy in caring for everyone else's kids, too. My hobbies are singing, reading, learning, gardening, and writing. My passions are family, music, teaching children, and volunteering both at church and in the community. I have a clean background, reliable transportation, and haven't missed a day of work in nearly three years. Light housekeeping, cooking, and errands are fine. I especially enjoy doing laundry.
