Hi, my name is Jasmin. I am 23 years old and I am passionate about providing quality care for children and just people in general. I am a big sister with two younger brothers ages 13 and 10. From a very young age I've had experience in child care. I've always loved kids, I enjoy taking care of them, I'm not easily flustered, I am patient and flexible, I also use behavior correction opportunities as a positive learning experience for the child. I believe children should be treated as individuals, no two kids are the same. I think they should be able to express themselves freely and when providing any type of correction help them calmly and patiently throughout the process to make it a positive experience rather than a negative one. Although challenging I absolutely loved my job. Being a big sister I do feel I have a strong understanding of what is needed in taking care of kids daily needs physically, emotionally, and mentally. My youngest brother suffers with severe allergies and asthma. So I'm extremely comfortable when it comes to administering any type of medication a child may need timely and effectively. Also being aware of the childs surroundings to avoid any potentially dangerous or life threatening situations. I'm easy going but firm enough that rules are still in place and enforced without tension or chaos developing. I have no problem preparing meals, getting kids ready for the day, or prepared for bed. Whatever guidelines set by the parents will be followed to the dot. I will provide a fun and exciting environment for the kids and make them feel as comfortable as possible with me as I can. I'm extremely organized and can multi task without a problem. I have reliable transportation and I'm not hard to get in touch with. I believe in honest and open communication with the parents to make the caregiving experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible for each one of us.
