Meet Cayla

As my mother is a daycare provider, I have been living in a household surrounded by children since the moment I was born. I'm very familiar with the ups and downs of children, and how to handle them, whether they are infants, toddlers, or of any other age. I love to be around children, and my patience exceeds that of most people my age. Though I am young, my maturity with children and understanding of how to care for a child is well-formed. I am very flexible with parents and how they choose to raise their children, and am able to adapt myself to each individual child's needs. I am also accustomed to working with children in different environments, from the basic household situation, to a classroom environment. I teach a hula class for children ages 3-6 years old, as well as assisting in the hula class for boys and Read more girls ages 7-12. I love working with children in a learning environment, but I'm also one to enjoy running around the yard and playing games in the living room. I believe it's important to be active with children, so I do not encourage television all day, or leaving a toddler in a playpen until their parents come home. I don't encourage unhealthy eating or drinking habits for children, but I am most concerned with running dieting/eating habits by parents. I have a functioning car, and I am willing to drop off and pick up children. I am all for fun outings for the kids, provided I have the permission of their parents. I am able to work with children of any age, and of small or large quantities. CPR Certified Experienced with Infants and Toddlers
