Aloha, I completed my B.A. in K-12 education from California State University, Chico with a minor in Early Childhood Development. I was selected for the Integrated Teacher Core program to earn an accelerated degree while working in Kindergarten classrooms in various schools near my university as well as serving as a docent at the Gateway Science Museum. During summers, I babysat for families in the Valley Oaks community voucher program in Chico, CA. I also provided childcare in my home, meals, and transportation. In addition, I served as the fundraising coordinator for Student California Teachers Association, received scholarship aid, and completed a dual degree B.S. in Recreation Administration with an empahsis on community and commercial recreation and tourism. I received a merit out of state internship and placement in kailua Kona at Kahaluu Bay Education Center where I coordinated programs with the public and school aged children. Aimee was absolutely incredible. She met with us beforehand, hung out to get to know our son, showed up on time, stayed late, got the baby to sleep, offered to travel, brought age appropriate toys and was just all around amazing!
