I am originally from Andover, MN. That is currently my permanent address but I am living in Waukee for the summer before returning to Iowa State University in the fall to continue my degree in Event Management. I have been around children all my life and had my first experience is caring for them when I helped out at the at home day care I used to attend. At 13 I babysat some of the children at the daycare as well as family members and a great family, with 3 children ,who used to be my neighbors. I cared for their 3 children (at the time 3,5,9) regularly for the next few years until the oldest was able to watch them by herself. I currently volunteer at the Boone Elementary School in their after school Kids Club program too. I have always loved children and I enjoy watching them learn Read more and grow. I like to do hands on activities such as crafts or playing outside as much as possible. It's also very important to me that I get to know them and their personalities so they can feel more safe and so I can also feel more confident that I am providing the best care for them.
