I would like to take a minute of your time to introduce myself. My name is Emily Fox and I graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. Throughout my time at Rhode Island College, I have continuously worked with children of all ages inside and outside the classroom. After graduating from Rhode Island College, I was offered a position in Scituate Public School System in Scituate, Rhode Island. Since being hired, I have worked as a Middle and High School Special Education teacher. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work with many students whose disabilities range from Specific Learning Disability to Autism. Through this experience, I have become a more effective teacher for the students I work with. I have realized the devotion and enthusiasm I have for working with children. I have been provided with the opportunity to enhance my skills as an educator, while I developed my ability further to work collaboratively as an active member of a team. Although most of my experience has come from being in the classroom, I am looking to change my environment into a home setting.
