Hello! My name is Morgan and I am 19 years old. I am a high school graduate , and I have also completed the general studies program at a small Christian College in Northwest Iowa. I recently moved to California because I will be starting at Paul Mitchell the School in May, where I will be pursuing a cosmetology license. Because I will be in school I am looking for a part time position. Class is from 8 am - 6:30 pm Th/F/S I started babysitting when I was 11 years old and still babysit for some of the same families. I have experience taking care of children of all ages. I have babysat children anywhere from the ages of infancy to 13 years old. I have also cared for a child with special needs. I have a 7 year old niece and a 5 year old nephew that I Read more have been babysitting since they were born. I am a Certified Nurse Aide, and I worked in a retirement home for approximately 4 years. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid certified. While I attended college, I had a work-study job at an Elementary school in town. I helped with the reading program for children who weren't as advanced as the rest of their class. I also helped with the after-school program, there I helped children finish homework and provided tutoring if needed. I am seeking a family who shares similar Christian beliefs, but I am open to other options. However, my faith does affect the way I care for children. In the Bible, Jesus teaches us of the importance of children. When the adults tried to push the children away from Jesus, He called them to His side saying, "let the children come to me." I believe that children need to be valued by someone who understands their importance to the world. I am very responsible, but I love to have fun. I am an a expert when it comes to a game of hide-and-go-seek, I can whip up a 5-star meal out of play-doh in no time, and I am a competitive Wii bowler. I also enjoy trips to the park, a game of kick ball, or walks around the neighborhood. I consider myself to be very well-rounded. I am no 5-star chef, but I do know my way around the kitchen. I can also do laundry and run errands. I love animals, especially dogs and would have no problem caring for pets. I love experiencing new things, people, and places!
