I'm 24 years old and currently attending Kirkwood to get my nursing degree. I have roughly 6 years of experience with childcare. I've worked with children ranging in age from 3 months old to 14 years old. My most recent experience was in India where I volunteered at an orphanage that had 30 children. It was a challenge to work with the kids when I didn't speak any Hindi but it was a rewarding experience and I miss them dearly. I was a private nanny for a family with three kids for two summers. A couple summers ago, I nannied for a family in Italy where my main responsibility was to speak English with the children. I also have some experience working with children with special needs and extreme allergies.
