I am a junior, going into my senior year, at Moody Bible Institute and have come from a background of many years with child care experience. I am originally from Iowa, where I had five to six consistent families that I worked for. I absolutely love kids and enjoy getting to know each child in different ways. I know how to discipline, but also how to have fun and encourage them. I love to cook, clean, play games with the kids, tutor if needed, and do anything that is of use to the busy parents. My goal is to make your life, as a parent, easier in any way possible. While at school I have not held any child care positions, but I have been very active with administrative work, customer service jobs, and most recently being a Resident Assistant. In the past year, I have been an admissions Telecounselor Read more for Moody Bible Institute, a desk attendant for the residence halls, and am currently the Residence Life Administrative Assistant. I know these credentials may not scream that I am great with children or have experience, I absolutely adore kids. My brother and his wife have a baby boy who will be turning 1-year-old at the end of March and it has been an overwhelming joy to watch him grow and develop. I am also very active with my church's kids ministry, so once per month I am in charge of teaching the preschool class full of 4-6-year-olds.
