I have worked as a pre-school teacher at Traditions Children's Center for almost two years. I absolutely love how much my job has challenged me to learn new things, such as teaching techniques, how to deal with all of kinds of learning abilities and attention spans, and how to be patient on days when my students are all over the place. Before working at Traditions, I spent my summers nannying full time for a family for four consecutive years. They were twin boys and I still claim it was my favorite job I have ever had. I prefer nannying over working in a daycare because then I can spend all my time focusing on one or a few children, rather than on 15 children. I feel as though I can nurture and care for the children better when I am nannying a family than when I am working at the Read more daycare. I am CPR certified and have been through First-Aid training. All of my certificates are up to date. I am currently going to school to get my secondary education degree, and until then I would like to find a family that would give me the privilege of being their nanny!
