I am a 23 year old recent college graduate looking for a reliable job that would help make my relocation to california easier. I was a collegiate track and field athlete and majored in fitness management. I have experience in early childhood care, worked 3 years in a day care, with children ranging from 1 month to 12 years. I currently work as a personal trainer and a youth associate where i stand in as a guardian type for children ages 12-18 who have experienced abuse or have behavioral problems. I cook, clean, and teach the children important values and appropriate ways to interact in social settings. I have always had a passion for children. My long term goals for my life it to work with children in the fitness industry which is a major need due to the childhood obesity epidemic. I am not bi-lingual, unless you consider spanglish a second language, though i doubt you do. I will probably be looking into becoming bilingual due to the large hispanic presence in california. I am certified in CPR/AED, Universal precautions, Harzardous waste, MANDT(a child de-escalation training), Mandatory reporter. I also have a 4 year bachelors degree from Wartburg College.
