I am a 48 year old West Des Moines mother of four children. They were all born within 5 years. We have a 19 year old daughter, a 17 year old daughter and boy/girl twins that are almost 15. They are all teenagers now but I have had much experience with loving, supporting, and raising young children. I will not be a grandma for quite a few years and truly miss the infant/toddler stage. I would love the opportunity to spend time with little ones again while helping out a young mother. My degree is in Nursing. I have my RN license but have not practiced in that field for over six years and did so at a very part-time basis after I started having children. Over the last few years, I have substituted at the neighborhood elementary school for staff that provide one on one support for children that Read more need extra help. I have done some interior painting for others and flipped a house with my husband. I am still very involved with our four children but am finding that I have some free time now that they are getting older. I love infants and toddlers and believe this is the perfect fit. I am currently completing this for one position only - the Tues/Thurs help with the triplets and am filling in the hourly wage as was indicated in the ad for that position. It will not let me leave the increased rate for the additional children box at 0.00, so I have filled in $1.00 only to be able to complete this process.
