HI! My name is Jordyn Garrett. I am from Boise, ID. I started out as an occasional babysitter when I was 12 years old. Over the years I have had a variety of different full-time and part-time nanny jobs. The first family I worked for I watched 3 children, a 5 year old boy with down syndrome, and 2 girls ages 4 and 2, 2 days a week, from 7 am to 6 pm. I worked for this family for 2 summers, but was unable to continue watching them due to school. I enjoyed working for this family because it gave me a lot of experience dealing with multiple children, as well as how to also take care of a child with down syndrome. I worked for this family 1 summer, and then was forced to quit due to school. The next year I did not have a set schedule, but instead watched several different families, who all had 2-4 children with ages ranging from 2-6 years old. During this time I was able to gain more experience with multiples, because 2 of the families that I tended for had twins, and also with infants. My most resent nanny position has been for a family who only have a little 1 year old boy, that I have been watching three days a week since he was 5 months old. As for certifications, I have taken a babysitting class that teaches us to all about infant CPR. I am looking for a part-time nanny position for the rest of the school year, that could continue on into the summer moving into more of a full-time position. I look forward to meeting you!
