My name is Justin Petersen and I would love to be your first pick as a caregiver for your child. A little about me and my background: I am a college student at Boise State University working towards my degree in psychology with an emphasis on child developmental psychology. My goal is to become a children’s psychologist, helping children grow, develop and become successful in life is one of my largest passions. I am an upper division student at Boise State and have taken several psychology courses which include child development classes. I am currently working on my family studies and counseling certificate at Boise State. I have past experience with working with children, from raising my nephew to volunteering at a children’s daycare/school in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho for two summers. I also was a camp counselor for three years for one of the elementary schools in Coeur D’ Read more Alene. So I understand how to be a friend and be a child at heart, but also know the strong importance of being a role model for children at such a young age. I am originally from Coeur d’ Alene and moved to Spokane where I attended the Spokane County Fire Academy where I earned my Advance-EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) license and also my Firefighter 1 certificate. I am very close with my family and understand the importance of family values and communication. I am an excellent cook and also love to cook, my grandmother and mother both taught me how to be a diligent cook in the kitchen. Growing up as a child I was taught the importance of being organized and cleanliness in your home and life. I am fluent in three languages, English, German, and Japanese. I have a reliable and safe car for getting to your place or transporting your child. I want to be a child caregiver/manny because my passion is helping children in any way I am able to. That is why I want to become a child psychologist, because I want to make sure that every child has every opportunity to become the best they possibly can be. Help them through difficult times, help them learn and advance mentally and being able to make the best decisions on their own. Our future starts with our children and I want to equip our future with the tools they need to be the best they can be. I am able to provide any further information per your request.
