Hello :) I’m Amanda. I’m currently a stay at home mom of a little girl, but I have an extensive background in childcare, teaching and nanny work. I started working in childcare when I was 14 as a summertime nanny and loved it. From there I babysat, became a teacher’s aid at my local elementary school and then started college coursework where I studied Elementary Education. I also volunteered for a camp specializing in assistance with special needs children. During college, I worked in an after school program with hundreds of kids and was a lead teacher. Then I worked in two separate daycares as well as substitute teaching 5th grade before becoming a mom myself and staying home with her :-) I’m currently enrolled in college to finish my elementary education degree but am looking to nanny or babysit kids part time to earn some money on the side Read more and to introduce my daughter to some new friends. I do not smoke or drink, I have my own car and I do not mind pets! I am CPR & first aid certified but also fingerprinted and background checked through the state of Idaho.
