In my past years of experience with childcare, I have had a variety of job positions in caring for young children. I have had multiple babysitting jobs ranging from ages 6 months -10 years old. Two years ago I moved to Melbourne, Australia for seven months to be an Au Pair (nanny) for a wonderful family with two girls, ages three and seven. I worked around 50-60 hours as I become a big sister figure in their lives. I prepared two or three meals daily, provided transportation to and from school, extracurricular activities, and doctor appointments. I helped with school work, discipline, childhood development, and life lessons. I really grew as an individual and found a great interest in caring for children from this experience.
