Hi! My name is Ashley. I am a hard working, loving, and fun nanny that has 7.5 years of experience in childcare. I wanted to contact you because I am interested in learning more about your family and hopefully having you get to know me better as well. To tell you a little about myself, I am engaged, I've been with my fiancé since I was a freshman in high school. We have 2 dogs together, who are my babies, I love to spoil them. In my spare time I LOVE cooking as much as I can. I am always looking at new recipes and making new desserts. My first babysitting position turned into a nanny position and ended up lasting for 5 years. I took care of 3 boys, the youngest being twins. It has been amazing watching them grow into the outgoing, spunky boys they are today. I Read more was not only a nanny at this position but also a house manager. I helped plan birthday parties, meal prep, parent teacher conferences, arranged play dates, helped with homework, and so much more. Their mom ended up becoming a full time stay at home mom. I worked with a 4 year old boy, and twin 2 year old boys as well for about a year, until their mom went part time at work. Now, I work with an 8 week old baby boy, 50 hours per week, Mon-Fri, in Highland Park. At my job, I cook dinner every night for the family, tidy up daily, prepare all meals, laundry, change sheets, grocery shop, play dates, and run errands. I am currently trying to find the right fit with a great family, for a second job. I work till 5:30 M-F and am totally open on the weekends. To tell you about my beliefs in child are, I think music and reading are a top priority in helping children learn, and grow into their full potential. I also pride myself in caring for the children I watch as if they were my own. I have also taken child care classes as well as a Marriage and Family class. CPR certified.
