I was born and raised outside of Louisville KY. After highschool, I completed my undergraduate degree in Chemistry (yes, I am a nerd) and Dietetics (a healthy nerd) from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. I relocated here, to the Chicago area, to complete my Masters degree at Loyola University in the field of Dietetics- with an emphasis in adolescent nutritional development. It was here that I married my husband and started my own family. We have one child, age 4, who is heading into Kindergarten come August. For almost four years I have been given the gift of being at home with my little, but have also filled that time loving on a family of 2 boys (now ages 3 and 1). Sadly as school closes in, I would like any job I hold to be closer to our home and school. We are hoping for a sweet home, close to ours, to join Read more our little family day-to-day. My hope would be for any position to become like family. I have loved being a mother and take that responsibilty very serious- it's been my favorite job and accomplishment. As a family, we are energetic, goofy, and love to be active and outdoors. Kindness and grace are key. Creativity is a strong point and my life feels complete when I can put a smile on someone's face. I am compassionate, responsible, faithful, organized, and loving. My weakness: kid's smiles. :)
