Greetings! I am currently a national certified counselor and a registered behavior technician who works with DCFS foster children providing individual and family therapy as well as community support. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. My passion is working with children and helping to foster their independence, creativity, and problem solving skills. I have been working with children for 5 years in the social service field. I have worked with that are diagnosed with autism and other related disorders as well as children who are typically developing. In my eyes children are the most integral part of having a successful future society and being able to help to contribute to their growth and development has always been the most rewarding part.
