I am 24 years old, currently a junior majoring in political science. After graduating on the undergraduate level my goal is to teach elementary school while pursuing my masters. Additionally I hope to work with programs that help educate at risk youth. I have been babysitting/nannying for about three years. However, I am the oldest out of four children so babysitting has always been second nature to me. My first experience babysitting in a professional capacity was for a family in the west loop. I served as a part time live in nanny for two boys who were 9 and 11. My duties included transportation back from school via cta, food preparation, homework help, light clean up and the occasional bed time. I am currently an occasional babysitter for a wonderful four year old girl. Mainly the job entails light cleanup, meal preparation and keeping her stimulated through educational, and Read more outdoor activities. Additionally, I am CPR and First Aid certified for infants, children, and adults. I also graduated from a nursing assistant course in Fall of 2013. I also have experience with children with ADHD, special needs, and pet care.
