For seven years I have been working in the educational field as a lead teacher at several different preschools. My passion for teaching the youngest of children started when my brother was born. As a little girl, I learned how to have the patients and the skills to teach and interact with children. I loved helping my siblings with homework and day-to-day activities that would help mold them into the adults they are today. But my career in the field started at a preschool called Sandbox back in 2009. I learned how to take that passion for teaching and make something out of it. I worked with age groups 12 weeks to 5 years old and I am most comfortable with toddlers. They've called me the toddler whisperer! I am certified in CPR and First Aide and renew it yearly. I enjoy cooking and baking and getting the children involved Read more too. I have high energy and a love for travel and exploration. I also love to play and interact with the children, you won't find me sitting on the park bench. I am registered with Gateways and have taken safety online courses on subject matters such a SIDS/SUID and SBS as well as onsite class trainings. I have the list of trainings that I have been certified in and can provide them at the interview. I currently work at a preschool in Lagrange but I have a strong desire to go back to school. With that said, I believe it would be best to work with a smaller group of children in a home setting during this time, so I may focus on my educational goals. Due to work, I can't start nannying until mid April. My apologies for the inconvenience.
