I am a student who will be graduating from Moody Bible Institute with a B.A. in Pre-Counseling this May. I would love to nanny for a family as I pursue an M.S.W. (Master of Social Work) at Aurora University. I have gained childcare experience primarily by working in my church's nursery and participating as a staff member at day camps such as Vacation Bible School. I have been volunteering in these capacities for about seven years. In addition, I've held various babysitting jobs for friends and neighbors since I was fourteen. Over the past four years, I have volunteered as a leader for two different middle school youth groups. I have chosen to pursue a job as a caregiver because I love interacting with children of all ages! I appreciate the fresh perspective on life that kids often possess, and I particularly enjoy fostering the development of their imaginations through Read more creative means (such as art, music, dancing, etc). I would be a great candidate for a nanny position because I don't hesitate to play with children, having fun alongside them rather than simply watching them. I am also assertive when necessary, and I would be more than willing to talk with children about more serious matters. I seek to nurture young minds by encouraging children to engage in creative activities, play with their peers, and get some exercise and fresh air by playing outside when possible. On a whole, I am a tender and caring person who is attentive to the needs of others and who also enjoys having fun! In addition, I would be completely willing to help out around the house and do some light cleaning.
