Hi! My name is Katie and I am 28 years old. I currently have a pretty flexible schedule and miss spending time with infants and children. I have experience with infants all the way through 15 years old. I've done date nights for neighbors and family friends since I was 13. When I was 17, I became a full time nanny for three boys ages 3, 4, and 12 years old . I stayed with them for 3 years. They were so much fun and I learned a lot. We spent a lot of time outside riding bikes, playing ball and swimming in the pool. I prepared all meals, drove them to activities and stayed overnight when their parents were out of town. After college I spent a year abroad in Japan, teaching English to children of all ages. It was so much fun! I learned tons about how to Read more connect with children on an educational level and how to make learning fun through songs, reading, games, and movement. I loved this experience so much, that when I returned home, I took some early childhood education courses at the local community college for fun and to learn how to better support children's proper development in all aspects (physically, mentally, emotionally and socially). Most recently, I became an aunt! He is now almost 3 years old and I've learned so much about caring for an infant. He is the cutest and I fell in love with caring for infants. They are so sweet and happy and make life so fun! I am currently up-to-date with my CPR certification. I have my driver's license, but I do not own a car in the city. I'm hoping to find a loving and friendly family that needs help with their little one!
