My name is Linda Edmondson, and I have been nannying and babysitting off and on since I was 15 and living in Boston! YEARS later, you can find me living in Chicago, working 9-5 as a financing manager at a firm in Naperville. I'm 27 now, but I still love to babysit in my free time! A little context about me- Aside from connecting businesses with affordable capital (boring:), I enjoy running and have finished 1 half marathon (in Georgia) and 3 full marathons- 2 in Chicago and 1 in Jerusalem. Fun fact- the spectators of the Jerusalem marathon handed out dates and figs instead of energy gels! I have a 4 year old pit bull and am a lover of all dogs, but the big ones are my favorite. I try to get out West as often as I can to snowboard, and just love being out in nature. Read more My traveling bug is part of the reason I like to babysit on the side- what a fun way to fund travel! I love being around kids. I think a big part of me is still a child at heart. Kids value small moments and see significance in events and spaces that adults are too busied and distracted to notice. They are rooted in an innocence that allows them to enjoy their days, and I love being able to enable them to laugh and explore that sense of idealistic wonder. I have experience in potty training and learning disorders. I've cared for infants to teenagers and am comfortable with multiples.
