Hi! I'm Sarah Jean and I grew up in Sedalia, MO where I started babysitting for our neighbor's daughter when I was 14 years old. It was always a great way for me to have fun and work at the same time! As I got older and could drive I would babysit for family friends, including infants and toddlers. By the time I went to college in Springfield, MO I felt that my babysitting skills could go even further, so I started working for a family as their nanny and personal assistant. They have two children, who were ages 2 and 4 when I started. I took care of every day tasks such as grocery shopping, dishes, dinner time, baths and bed time. I would also take the kids to school and on the weekends we would have fun by going to water parks in the summer, and in the Read more winter season we went to Silver Dollar City in Branson, of course! I spent four years with their family and felt like a second mother to their children. I am so sad to leave their family, but my new move to Chicago will hopefully bring me a new family to take care of and love! While I lived in Springfield I also helped another family a few days a week for a few months. I primarily took care of their 6 month old daughter and sometimes their newborn granddaughter would also join us for the day. Although I have more practice with older children, I feel comfortable with infants as well. I'm also CPR certified. Feel free to text or call me if you're interested in hiring me:)
