Over the past 10 years I’ve worked as a piano teacher, nanny, substitute teacher and more recently, as a mom! Teaching is sort of a natural instinct for me as I spend the day with a child, and I’ll actively look for ways we can learn either school subjects in a real life context or practical life skills. I also recently completed what I hope will be the first of many Montessori trainings, in January of 2020. I am in love with her philosophy and observations about children and how they learn and grow, and I am continually trying new things suggested in her teachings with my own toddler (who is almost 2)!
