Hi, I'm Stacy and I have more than five years experience as a daycare teacher and also more than 5 years experience as a professional nanny. I have sterling references and I have worked with newborn babies on up to high school aged kiddos. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education as well as a degree in English and two years of grad school. I have worked with kids of all ages and I have loved it all. Right now I am looking for full time work along the lines of 40-50ish hours. Here is little more about me and my experience, i tried to write like bullet points on a resume to make it easier to read, but maybe that's not the right format. About me: -I have provided day to day care for newborns on up to high school aged kiddos - for younger children I do Read more diapering, meal prep, arranging enrichment activities. - I create my own lesson plans to help children engage in active play and learning -I create a loving, fun and nurturing environment that children thrive in -I have transitioned many children from bottles to pureed foods then purees to solid foods (aka baby-led weaning). -I can teach Baby Sign Language - I enjoy teaching Spanish to babies and children for every day objects, animals and numbers, etc -I have a lot of experience with potty training - I love to create age appropriate lesson plans and activities to stimulate cognitive growth and help meet developmental milestones - I can do light house keeping and tidying up I have 3 college degrees in Education and am CPR certified and first aid trained and have references and am able to pass a background check. I'm a native English speaker and I'm also fluent in Espanol. I have a clean driving record and I love pets and I do not smoke. I have a car that I use to commute to work and I can also take the CTA to your home. Please note that I do not give out my references until both myself and your family are quite sure we're a match (typically the 2nd or 3rd interview).
