Hello! My name is Ishita Bhama. I have been a child caretaker for over nine years. My first job was a babysitter and over the years I have worked as a nanny and babysitter for many families. I have also worked as a teacher's aide at Little Green Tree House in Lincoln Park where I worked with infants to toddlers and preschoolers. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Loyola University and am finishing up my last year of my Masters of Education in Elementary Education at DePaul. I have had many wonderful experiences working with kids as a teacher and as their caretaker. I was an improv teacher for a couple of years through the Improv Playhouse. What I really enjoyed about the experience was that I got to watch kids explore, learn, and use their imaginations. My experiences allow me to not only be supportive and Read more nuturing, but bring creativity and fun to the time I spend with the children I work with. I know how to keep a balance between what is important and having fun. My positive attitude and creativity is something that makes me a great teacher and caretaker. In my free time I enjoy meditation and singing. I know that you must be able to be take care of yourself so you can fully take care of others. I also believe in having a creative outlet for which I can express myself with. Hiking and kayaking are somethings that I really love.
