I have worked with children my whole life. In high school I worked as a teachers assistant/camp counselor for children with special needs. I nannied throughout high school and college and found that my passion was in teaching. I then went off to graduate school at DePaul University where I graduated with a MED in Elementary Education and received my teaching license. From there, I went on to substitute for District 37 in Wilmette. I then took the job offer for a teacher associate with District 34 at Lyon School Elementary in Glenview IL, where I also helped tutor at-risk students. I love helping children learn through hands on experiences and think of myself as a big kid at heart. I am extremely active and pride myself on my daily workouts and active lifestyle. I am also very organized, and plan ahead but am always flexible if there is a Read more last minute change of plans. Overall, I have a big heart and a strong love for children.
