I am educated as I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, which is a plus! If your child requires tutoring, mentoring or basic homework help, I have a wealth of knowledge to share. You may wonder why I am not using my law degree. I am seeking non-traditional employment because I am single mom to two small children and I am currently pursuing a second Masters degree in Psychology and Government. I love kids! For infants to preschool age children, I have prior informal experience babysitting my family and friends' small children. For older children, I have professional experience tutoring, mentoring, coaching, and providing test taking strategies in math, reading, writing and social studies. I know basic CPR techniques as I learned them in parenting classes. I also understand child psychology and a child psychology and child development course as an undergraduate student. I have implemented those Read more techniques with my own children and my family and friends' children. Structure is great and I love detailed instructions that are left for children. If the environment will be less structured and malleable, I can adapt to that as well or assist the parent (s) in structuring activities and developing a schedule for the child(ren).
