Hello! My name is Sheila and I am searching for a part time nanny or babysitting job in the River North area starting or after Dec. 23rd. I have over 10 years of babysitting experience, as well as an undergraduate degree in Child Life/ Development and a soon to be Master's Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. I have experience with children in the following settings: home, schools, hospitals, mental health, child advocacy center, Gilda's club, other volunteer organizations. I have completed one Child Life Practicum and one Child Development Practicum. I have experience working with children affected by cancer, mental health, learning dissabilities, developmental dissabilities, trauma, etc. I am leaving my current job which is at a Partial Hospitalization Program (mental health setting) working with children and adolescents experiencing signifcant levels of depression and anxiety to complete my internship for graduate school.
