I am a warm, loving, fun, and active person looking for a deeper and more meaningful childcare experience by working more closely with a similarly fun and active family, and I hope that family is you! I love working with kids, particularly with infants, toddlers, and twos because they're fun and keep me on my toes. I am passionate about learning through play, social-emotional development, exploring, and getting messy. I like to bring in as much of my own life experience into caring for your child; my own love of learning, music, art, words and language, and my own multicultural and multilingual background are all things I try to impart a piece of in every child I interact with. I have been caring for children my whole life, beginning in my mother's own home daycare, through teaching music and theatre to kids 3+, to my current position in a NAEYC Read more accredited child care center. I have extensive musical and theatrical experience, am conversant in Italian and Filipino, First-Aid/CPR-Certified, and a proud graduate of the University of Chicago. After graduating from UChicago in 2013, I spent a year in an AmeriCorps program called Amate House, the young adult volunteer ministry with the Archdiocese of Chicago, that placed me in the center where I currently work. Working at my center really reignited my passion for childcare and early childhood education, and I believe that nannying is the next step in my childcare career. I hope to have a more significant impact in a child's life through the deeper and more meaningful relationship with child and family that nannying can offer.
