Hello, my name is Denise. I am a recent graduate with my masters in Art Therapy. Through out my three years of clinical training I interned at a hospital working with pediatric oncology patients. I have a close affinity for working with children especially who's immune systems are compromised. I also worked with a non-profit organization serving teenage girls struggling with victimization. Lastly, I interned at hospice facility, I provided bereavement support and art therapy services to the families and children who experienced loss. Besides the professional experiences of working with children and adolescence, I enjoy playing sports, art activities, cooking, reading, being active and enjoying them with others.
