I have been in child care for my entire life, starting first as an older sister to two siblings and then professionally around my Minnesota neighborhood as a babysitter throughout middle school and high school. I went to college for psychology and philosophy where I took a specific interest in ethics and child psychology & development. After undergrad, I began nannying as a way to make money in hopes of going to graduate school to pursue a career in children’s psychology. Later, I was diagnosed with brain cancer and subsequently underwent treatment. After being on the receiving side of care taking for two years, I became much more passionate about working with young children and infants. I love the idea of being able to help prepare a young soul for any challenges that might come to them. I want to commit to and collaborate with a family long term. I Read more work with kids because it is challenging, unpredictable and high energy. I love being surprised by children's insights and views about the world, and I enjoy helping them build their confidence to become the best young people they can be.
