Working with children has always been my passion. Currently, I teach third grade at a neighborhood school where social-emotional learning is top priority. My interest and talent has always led me to facilitating milestone development activities for infants and toddlers, both my own children as well as the children I have nannied for in the past, as well as implementing more curriculum based activities as the children get older. Before becoming a full-time educator, I supervised camp staff and assisted in development of camp activities for students attending day camp each summer for 4 years. I believe summer is a time to explore the world around us, and using nature and neighborhood as learning environments is crucial to developing and maintaining what is practiced during the school year. Summer should be a time away from screens and outside soaking up the sun. My experience and expertise ranges from infants to Read more adolescents, as I have two teenagers and one school aged child of my own. Between developing curriculum and activities for my own students and being an educational advocate for my own children, I am eager to implement education and fun with your family! No child is ever too young to learn, therefore you can guarantee that while your child is in my care they will be engaged, protected, and cognitively challenged.
