Hello! Thanks for taking a look at my care profile! Im a career nanny from Chicago, Illinois. Please note that I am CURRENTLY EMPLOYED full time. I discovered my love of caring for little ones in my early teens through babysitting for neighbors and family friends. I also started working for a Chicagoland child entertainment company during high school where I would entertain children at birthday parties, parades and company parties. After high school I spent a few years working for my hometown daycare center and preschool. I worked with all ages from infant to preteen. In 2009 I decided I wanted to work one on one with children and was hired by a wonderful couple with two children and a baby on the way. There began my career as a full-time Nanny. At this time I have over a decade of Nanny experience. I also have Newborn Care Specialist Read more training. If I happen to be looking for a family in need of a nanny I am most interested in employers who consider their nanny to be an extension of the family. My boys loved Melissa. She jumped right in and engaged them in what they were playing. She was attentive and asked great questions. She left our house clean after playing, which was a nice treat to come home to.

Melissa was amazing! She was professional and made me feel comfortable leaving her with my 3 month old daughter on my first day back to work. She downloaded the tracking app I have been using and updated it in real time so I could see what was going on. She not took care of my daughter's basic needs, but also did tummy time and core development activities with her. When I came home, my daughter was happy and calm. She cried when Melissa put on her coat because I think she wanted to keep playing with her!

Melissa was great. My 4 year old had a great time with her and asked us to bring her back. She was great with both the 4 year old and the 8 month old. She was flexible when we needed to change times and cleaned up after the kids which we appreciated. We'll definitely hire her again!
