I started babysitting at 16 and decided to take it more seriously as a career since 18. I love being a sitter because I get to work solely with children and don’t have any specific quotas I have to meet. I have a lot of trust placed in me by parents and it’s something I find very rewarding about the job. I especially like that parents I’ve worked for have also always been very grateful which is something I appreciate. I studied Biology for a bit because I didn’t realize the potential babysitting could offer me. Now I’m planning on going back to school to major in Early Childhood Education and hopefully become a preschool teacher. My most professional experience would be when I worked at an elementary school over the summer supervising all grade levels on a day to day basis while teachers taught from home.
