Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my profile, you must have interest so I will list a few reasons why I am a great choice for watching your children. For over fifteen years now I have provided various families with trustworthy and excellent babysitting/nanny/pet-sitting/house-sitting and I consider it my profession. In that sense I have established certain principles along the way that give ease and confidence to the parents of the children I watch and care for either short term or long term. Those principles are as follows: Respect, a child and animal are entitled to respect in how I treat them, speak to them, teach them, guide them; Kindness, with genuine care and sweetness in all dealings I have found children to feel most safe when experiencing kindness from me consistently; Consistency!, this one is huge, children need consistency in behavior from their trusted care taker and I Read more promise to provide that 100% of the time, with no exception. Over the years I have learned that children thrive with certain boundaries laid out and adhered to, along the lines of the three main principles I have listed above. Two main things I have always used as well to structure each day with children is creating an environment with me where they are constantly learning and having loads of fun. After all, it's in play that a child's brain is geared toward learning the most easily! Lastly, for now, I want to say just a little about myself. I am 32 years old and a mother of a beautiful baby boy who is 2 years and 4 months. He is my sidekick and buddy every day and I take him with me just about everywhere I go. I seldom have made exceptions to this and part of my parenting beliefs are to provide my child with my presence as much as he needs it until I can properly communicate to him that I will be back and he is okay with that. I have a trusted friend who has offered to watch him and he loves my friend so this is something I can do occasionally, but most of the time I will want to have him with me, this includes while babysitting or nannying. He is a sweet sweet adventurous boy who will add lots of life and fun to the atmosphere. I am also still nursing him as it is optimal for his developing needs still. I realize this is all somewhat unconventional for our western culture however I have so much experience with children and have done so much independent research about childhood development that I have found it essential to parent this way. The global pandemic has affected the consistency of our living situations multiple times now and so he is very much insistent on staying with me until he has had time to bond with and form a trusting relationship with someone else, and as I mentioned he has done that now with a friend of mine. I can definitely use her to watch him at times but it's really a day by day basis to see how he adjusts. I'm looking for a family (or families) who value the quality of care I have to offer and who are willing and even happy to allow me to bring my son with me.
