We were very lucky to have found JoAna! JoAna is a very experienced, kind, energetic nanny who has worked with many children and families; she has wonderful skills and a great personality, and your children will have fun and will certainly be nurtured and cared for. JoAna was with us for a whole year. We appreciated her warmth and her kind and nurturing way of interacting with our 2 kids (1.5 years and 3.5 years). She has a very good sense for what each child needs in challenging situations. JoAna really wants to get to know the children she works with and find out what works best for each specific child. Our kids (and we) loved how she create days of perfect balance between outside time, fresh air, running around, story time, resting inside, eating, creativity, structured activities, snuggles, giggles, and many more things. Because JoAna was very interested in learning about our values in terms of childrearing, we could always trust that she would extend our approaches in the ways she cared for the kids. She became a true part of our family! JoAna also was always flexible when we needed her to be (e.g. switching days or times) and she is very reliable (you wont have to worry about getting to work late). She is a great communicator and we were always up to date regarding what the kids were doing, if any of them was struggling a particular day, etc. She really wants the best for children and families. During this year it became very obvious that JoAna is in this profession because she wants to, and not because she needs to. We will truly miss her!

Joana stopped by today, and I found her to be very sweet and prompt. She was great with my two month old daughter, and even great with my very nervous dog. I will certainly call her again, and I recommend her highly.

Joana is a great sitter, able to come in and adjust to whatever developmental phase or mood my children may be in at the moment. She has cared for my 3 year old and 1 year old periodically for over a month and has never been late or anything but warm and positive. She also makes delicious snacks.

JoAna was great with my 21/2 year old and our dog. Hopefully we can get her to babysit for us in the future too! Thanks, JoAna!

Joana has babysit my 4 year old son on two occasions. She was prompt, in fact early both times, and attentive to my son. She was happy to get him out of the house and play at the park and pool and sent me text updates to keep us posted on the fun our son was having. Joana asked excellent questions and followed our instructions. We would definitely use her again!

We recently hired JoAna to babysit for our 20 month old son on short notice. She arrived promptly, had a warm and calming presence, and sent us updates (complete with photos!) as requested throughout the night. She was very professional and made me feel at ease despite the short notice. She even demonstrated her resourcefulness by fixing one of my son's toys that had been broken for a while! (Thanks, JoAna! Gabriel really appreciated having his stroller put back together! :)) I would definitely have her back to watch our son in the future.

JoAna is very professional, providing references up front and flexible with scheduling a meet and greet. She is prompt, professional, caring with my toddler and dog, able to get a difficult napper to nap with no problem and even did the dishes while the toddler slept!

JoAna an excellent sitter for my two boys (one six and one almost two years old). She went beyond what I expect from a babysitter: feeding the kids, putting them to bed, playing with them, maybe watching a little tv. She did all that excellently, and I would have been happy. She also did elaborate crafts projects with them, and took pictures for us to enjoy. And she did it all in a very relaxed and friendly, which set my wife and I at ease and let us enjoy our night out together.

JoAna was great with our energetic three year old. We recommend her services and will call her again for future babysitting jobs!

JoAna has excellent child caring instincts and is very proactive. She is insightful with understanding my son's needs, who can be a handful at times. My son loves having her around because she always looks on the bright side of things and helps him see things in a different way (e.g. finding a way to make a point of why he shouldn't misbehave and redirecting vs scolding). JoAna is energetic and imaginative which is wonderful for creating a fun, learning atmosphere for children.

JoAna has sat for my toddler son twice now and he seems to have a wonderful time with her. He was certainly very excited to see her the second time she came. JoAna also gets along well with our dog. We will continue to have her take care of our son.
