Hello! My name is Claire and I am a professional nanny in Chicago (located in, but not limited to, Lincoln Square)! I currently work full-time caring for two incredible boys, ages 2.5 and 9 months. I graduated from Indiana University (B. A. Theater &Drama) and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Secondary English Education. I spent my first year out of college in my hometown of Downers Grove, where I worked full time at Starbucks while also assistant coaching the Downers Grove South speech team, and auditioning for theater in Chicago. I have lived in the city for two years and have loved every minute of it. When I’m not busy working or studying, I take advanced improv classes at Second City. My background in childcare is extensive and varied. I have cared for children of all ages since I was a preteen: from infancy to adolescence. I have also Read more worked professionally with children, both as a childcare worker at a church in IN., and through a local theater group. My greatest skills in childcare are responsibility, organization, and, my favorite, creativity. I am not afraid to be silly for the sake of making a child happy! I'm passionate about childcare and continue to dedicate myself to understanding each child's unique set of needs and to always keep them safe, happy, and loved.
