I began babysitting like most young people as a teenager and have over the years been responsible for the care of newborns, infants, and children of all ages. I've served as a teacher's aid in the Washington D.C public school system and I've also been inlvolved with the development of several theatre arts camps in Virginia and South Carolina where I've worked with young people ages five through 16. It was there that I discovered what various forms of art can do for young people. I participated in not only their training as artists but also helped in the areas of literacy and public speaking. After graduating from grad school in May of last year, I moved to Chicago to develop a career in the arts. I currently work part time at Michaels Arts and Crafts Stores and am also involved in a number of readings for new plays and Read more shows in various theatres around the city. I love what various forms of fine art can do for young people of all ages and I love to share that part of me with whoever I can. My other interests include enjoying the outdoors, swimming, playing basketball, and the martial arts. At the end of the day, I am a big kid with grown up responsibilitites and I love to have as much fun as possible!
