Hi! My name is Brianna and I am 20 years old. I am a sophomore at Marquette University majoring in Speech Pathology and minoring in Spanish. I live in Chicago near Skokie and I have my own car. I have always loved children and for so many years, I have been the "go-to" babysitter on my block. I have babysat for 8 years and I spent my last three summers nannying two different families ranging in ages. We would do fun activities, such as go to the zoo, beach, movies, tie dyed, visited museums and even simple things such as bike rides and rollerblading - which I love! I encouraged creative things such as doing art projects, playing board games, reading, and creating fun water games for us to play. I also taught the girls I babysat how to make a variety of friendship bracelets! I always made sure we Read more were having fun, but I would always make sure they were safe first. I also enjoy doing service and spent two weeks of my summer volunteering at a school in Guatemala City. I also have experience with special needs. I used to volunteer at a Special Needs center for adults who have finished high school. For the passed 6 summers, I volunteer for a week at a camp called "Horizon" for adults with physical disabilities and also a week at a camp for children with Muscular Dystrophy. I currently work at a grade school as a lunch monitor, watching 20 children at a time from grades K4 to 5th graders, so I have a ton of experience with children! I really love children!
