I was twelve years old when my first sibling was born and the phrase "built-in babysitter" was tossed around quite a bit. Since then I have gained three more siblings, the youngest being 6 years old. Through them I gained the experience I needed to feel totally confident dealing with children of all ages, with multiple children at one time, and keeping them for long periods of time. In college I studied theories of cognitive, personality and functional development as part of my children's theatre minor. And since then have gained first hand experience with child development as a teacher and nanny. My most recent position was a full-time preschool teacher in a green-friendly learning center. My favorite things to with kids are sing songs, play games, and read books.

Lindi was instantly great with my two girls (ages 1 & 3) and they all had a blast together! My 3 year old is understandably guarded when new faces come around but Lindi was great with her and instantly connected to her princess-loving ways with play time and singing. Loved having Lindi watch my girls and I'll definitely work with her again.

We loved having Lindi babysit our two girls (ages 5 and 7). She was willing to stop by prior to the date she was scheduled, just to meet our kids to help them transition to a new sitter with ease. Lindi was friendly, comfortable with our daughters, and followed through with all requests/instructions we left. She managed dinner time, play time, and transition to bed smoothly and naturally. The girls loved her and we will definitely have her come back in the future!

She assumed we would buy(?) provide(?) dinner- the assumption and accompanying attitude was a put off to both me and my husband. Had a slight bit of an ornery attitude. Otherwise, she was on time, near and followed our instructions.

Lindi took to our two daughters, ages five and two, right away. She acknowledged each child and seemed very playful. Lindi is very responsible and respectful. She also had everything cleaned up before we got home.

Lindi does a great job babysitting for my two daughters aged 4 and 2. I've used her more than 20 different times over the past few months. She has a very relaxed and approachable presence around children (and adults) so the girls didn't have the normal nervousness about meeting someone new. The girls like Lindi a lot --they now want to eat whatever Lindi has to eat, for example. ("We want Lindi noodles," is a phrase I've heard several times.) She always arrived a few minutes early and was happy to stay if things went longer than expected. Lindi was always attentive and careful around the girls and we never had any problems.
