Communication, trust and honesty are very important to me as a nanny. I recognize how important it is to be dependable and honest as a caregiver.
I am currently an elementary school reading teacher, but I have also worked as a tutor, activity coordinator, and a preschool teacher, Since then, I have spent my summers as a nanny.
I have recently earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and have minors in the areas of special education, reading, middle school, and social science. My educational background has prepared me well to effectively integrate educational ideas and lessons into our daily activities.
What I love most about babysitting is the bond I make with the families. Besides having a special bond with the children, I appreciate bonds I make with the parents I work with as well. I view my relationship with families that I babysit as one which takes on the role of a co-parent, in a sense. It is important to be honest and vocal about each day I spend with the children of the parents that I work with.
