Reviews
Kristin is the best! We had a 2 week gap between our nanny leaving and our 3-year-old son starting preschool. Up to that point, we had only left him with our nanny or family and he normally takes a while to warm up to strangers so we knew this wasn't going to be an easy assignment. I was intrigued by Kristin's profile and impressed by how confident and mature she sounded on the phone. I talked to both of the references she provided and they not only confirmed my initial impression of her, but spoke with true affection/appreciation for her and the care she had provided their children. The first day was really rough - our son cried on and off all day. Kristin was amazingly patient and kind at every turn. She actively tried to engage, distract and entertain him. He was such a handful, I honestly thought she wouldn't show up the next morning. Much to my delight, she did! Our son continued to cry when we left in the mornings for the first week, but Kristin remained completely unfazed. She had endless patience and a wonderful way about her when it came to interacting with him. The second week was easier - Kristin even managed to talk him into a few outings to the park - a real negotiating coup, if you knew our son! I can't say enough good things about her.
