I began babysitting for family, neighbors, and friends as a teenager, and have continued gaining experience since then, working as a nanny during and after college. I've cared for children from newborns to 14 years old, single children and groups of up to 12, and three different families with twins (including infants). I've been certified in CPR and trained in first aid. I've worked in PreK and Elementary settings, and done course work towards certification as a Newborn Care Specialist. I absolutely love caring for children and I take it very seriously. I am happy to work independently at setting up structure and designing activities, but prefer to work closely with parents, especially for younger kids reaching towards specific milestones. The kids (3 & 6) had a great time with Kym. She played with them in the yard, helped with homework, and even listened to my son who wanted to talk about something difficult he's going through. I appreciated that Kym kept me informed via text a couple times through the night as well. I hope we can have her back!
