Hello Sittercity Parents, I'm Darcy an experienced "Super Nanny & Babysitter." Just to say a little about myself i have been caring for children for over 20 plus years as an certified Red Cross CPR /First-Aid caregiver. My experience extends from caring for children within my family, babysitting at 5-star Hotels and through sites such as Sittercity & Care. As an previous Chicago Public Schools "Substitute" Teacher i believe my craft sets me above all the rest when it comes to caring for children; being i can handle almost anything that is thrown at me. Attributes i bring to each and every "Nanny and/or Babysitting Experience" is different and unique as it pertains to each family. I specialize in picky eaters, those who believe they are full from dinner but still have enough room left for dessert i practice vigilance when it comes to caring for infants and small children Read more as well as making sure healthy and well-balanced meals are set forth during feeding times. As an caregiver i believe in upholding the rules set forth by parents as it sets the tone for the environment of the home and practicing safe play is my specialty. I'm also extremely flexible and reliant when it comes to short notice plans in a change of schedule that may require me to either work later than my shift or come a bit earlier, if need be. I love to participate in exploring with the imagination of a child's mind as well as being a little silly sand goofy at times as it makes for a fun good-time where my reward is seeing a smile on their faces because i believe that a happy kid makes for a joyful and fun-loving "Nanny/Babysitting Journey" experience! If you have any questions regarding my services please feel free to contact me by cellular at (312)973-2327. Best Regards, ~Darcy :)

Darcy is wonderful. She sat for our 3 kids (ages 16mos, 4 and 5) several times and overnight while we were traveling. She is very responsive and available on last minute notice. The kids loved her and the activities she did with them, including baking cookies!
