Hello, I have been working in childcare since I was 16 whether it be working on a daycare center or teaching swim lessons in High school, or working in a high school and nannying while in college, or working at a camp in the woods or leading students groups on home repair. I spend quite a bit of time with these little genius beings. I am wrapping up my time in Minneapolis, I came here for a term in Americorps, and stayed to get a licensure in teaching grades 5-12 social studies. Now I am heading back home to Des Plaines and I am hoping to find a summer position to hang out with some silly kids until I start teaching (as long as I get a job) in the fall. For the summer I am willing to go far in the Chicago area as long as the hours I Read more have equate to twice the drive time. I am excited to find a family to make magic with this summer.
